Welcome to Bhutan the Land of the Thunder Dragon Upon arrival at Paro International Airport you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel Spend the day relaxing and adjusting to the altitude while enjoying the fresh mountain air and scenic views of Paro Valley
Visit the historic ruins of Drukgyal Dzong built in the 17th century to mark Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan forces
Hike through pine forests to the viewpoint of Taktsang Monastery and admire its dramatic cliffside location
Explore Kyichu Lhakhang one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples
Return to Paro for dinner and overnight stay
